My passion for supporting women’s hormone and
skin health comes from my lived experience.
For many years, I struggled with painful cystic acne, bloating, PMDD, stubborn weight gain around my middle, and profound exhaustion. At my lowest point, I would fall asleep during the day because my energy levels were so depleted. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what was happening, but I now know I was living with severe hormonal imbalance driven by chronic stress and lifestyle factors.
Feeling frustrated and unsupported, I began exploring how nutrition and lifestyle could help my body heal. Within just a few months of making changes, the transformation I experienced was remarkable, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. That experience was the catalyst for retraining in nutritional therapy, completing 3 years of study at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). I knew I wanted to support other women who felt stuck, exhausted, and confused about their health, and to show that meaningful change is possible when we address the root cause.
Several years later, I was diagnosed with hormone-positive breast cancer. Following successful treatment, and drawing on my clinical knowledge alongside everything I had learned through my own healing journey, I’m grateful to say my health is now back on track. As a result of treatment, I entered medical menopause, meaning I’m not only supporting women through hormonal and metabolic changes, I’m living this transition myself.
This has given me a deep understanding of how women’s bodies and skin change over time, and how we can best support our bodies as we transition through perimenopause and menopause lifestage.
My personal experience with breast cancer, along with my work in hormone health, has highlighted the importance of using skin treatments that promote overall well-being. In line with my naturopathic approach, I use Prologic in my clinic. This professional corneotherapeutic range is formulated without phthalates or any known hormone-disrupting ingredients, and it delivers outstanding results by working with your body and skins function to repair the skin barrier for smooth, hydrated and radient skin.
Alongside nutrition, I’ve also learned how profoundly stress and nervous system dysregulation impact hormonal health. Healing my nervous system has been just as important as addressing my diet. This is why my work as a naturopath takes a truly holistic approach, both in my skincare treatments and in my nutrition coaching, supporting not only what you eat but also how you live, rest, and respond to stress.
Today, I support women with compassion, clarity, and practical guidance, helping to cut through the noise of conflicting wellness advice and focus on strategies that are sustainable, evidence-based, and tailored to your body. When the body and mind feel safe, the body can begin to heal.
If you’re struggling with ongoing symptoms, unsure where to start, or simply want support that feels calm, informed, and realistic, I’d love to help.
You can book a free, no-obligation discovery call to discuss your health goals, history, and priorities. I’ll then explain my approach in creating a personalised plan to support your long-term health.
